Dave Thomas

Dave Thomas was born in Wales in 1950. He studied art in English and Welsh colleges during the 1970's. In the early 1980's he was appointed Head of Art Department of the International School of Mila, Italy.

After travelling the world Dave found his "paradise" in the southern highlands of NSW and has since been a much sought after portrait artist. Dave has been a finalist in the Archibald Prize and twice finalist in the Doug Moran National Prize.

For the past twelve years Dave has focused on his other great love, sport. He has worked with numerous Australian and international sporting organisations.

Dave lives in Bowral, Australia with his wife Leanne and her two daughters.
