Commissioned by the Essendon Football Club in 2005 "The Sheedy Story" paid tribute to the super coach's 25th year at the helm.
Surrounding the great one with his hoard of trophies are several images that are classic Sheedy.
The jacket wave and the slashing of the throat are unforgettable images for all football supporters. Dave also recognizes the quirkiness that is Sheedy with UFO's behind him top left and martian antenna protruding from his head centre right. A seagull also sits at his feet in reference to his post match remarks about his players being felled behind play.
The young aboriginal boys playing football in the dust is an acknowledgement of his tireless work with the indigenous community.
200 limited edition prints were produced and are only available through the club.
